AP2-1 George Bacon Brown (1893-1923) Chicago and Saint Paul, MN. Exhibited at 1917 Chicago's Institute 29th Annual Exhibition of Watercolor, Pastels and Miniatures with a pastels titled "Bubble Imp" and "The Road to the Land That Might Be So". He studied at the Chicago Art Institute with Paul Zeigler. He was also a member of the Saint Paul Art Society. In 1917 He Registered for the draft for World War I. He died 6 years later in 1923 in Mankata, MN. It is not known how many paintings he produced as he died so young. This Interesting pastel(circa 1910) could be titled "The Road to the Land of Make Believe". Pastel with Original Frame measures 16 1/2" X 21 1/2". $200. Shipping and Insurance Costs Extra.
